    Years ago I had the privilege of holding a piece of history in my hands, a WWII Walther P-38 with no markings whatsoever. No factory code, no Waffenampt, no proofs, no serials and no final polish on the parts. The lady who brought it into our gun store to try and sell was the daughter of a man who spent the war in a German concentration camp working in the arms factory. He had, like many others, snuck out one part at a time by hiding them within his person then assembling the parts in secret.
